How do you know if your Puff bar is real or fake?

Puff Bar has captured the disposable vape device market with its incredible flavors, convenience factor, and consistent product. People are enticed by how easy it is to use while being a high-quality device. Spend a night out on the town and you’re bound to see at least one person with a brightly-colored Puff Bar in their palm.

But what hangs on the coattails of every single wildly popular, top-of-the-line product?

Counterfeits.

And Puff Bar has its own counterfeit and clone problem to deal with. Low quality, knock-off devices found their way into the hands of consumers, posing both frustration and danger. There is no way to guarantee the quality of a clone or counterfeit device. So how do you know if your Puff Bar is real or fake?

The poor quality control among other factors makes counterfeit products frustrating to use. Since they’ve made their way into the market, though, do you know how to look out for a fake Puff Bar? This in-depth guide will help you figure out whether your Puff Bar is real or fake.

To confirm you're holding an authentic Puff Bar Disposable device it is always recommended to buy direct or from an authorized retailer.

There are four main criteria used for verification

Authentication Code
Each PUFF Bar box is sealed with an authenticator label you can scratch off. The best way to avoid using counterfeit products is to register and verify your PUFF Bar through our online registration page, using the authentication code found on the box.

Color
Each of our PUFF Bars comes in a package that features a color gradient design. If the gradient appears pixelated, or if the design deviates from our official packaging design, it usually means the PUFF Bar is fake.

Font
Any font deviations on the back or side of the box may indicate a fake PUFF Bar. The font should be consistent all over the box and there should be no obvious deviations in boldness or size.

Juice
If, while using a PUFF Bar, the juice tastes harsh and the vapor production isn’t smooth, the item is probably fake. In this case, we recommend that you stop using the item immediately and register it on our website. If you discover that the item is authentic, but the juice tastes harsh, contact us for a complimentary replacement.

How Do You Know if Your Puff Bar is Real or Fake?

Counterfeit and clone production companies do their best to create identical models of the products they copy. Some are able to get close to the mark, but if you know what to look for you can always tell the difference. What should you keep an eye out for to know if your Puff Bar is real or fake?

Be on the lookout when you head to the convenience store or gas station to purchase a Puff Bar. First of all, each Puff Bar has four separate parts to the device and its packaging and display. If possible, look for all four of the following:

  • 10-pack display box (if possible)
  • Box packaging of the device
  • Device wrapper
  • Device

Official Puff Bar devices come in these three separate pieces of packaging, from the display box to the device packaging to the device wrapper. Each piece has unique aspects to look for to know if your Puff Bar is real or fake.

10-Pack Display Case

When a company purchases Puff Bars in bulk, they come in display cases with 10 devices in each. The first thing to check for is the number of devices in the display case. If it has anything other than 10 Puff Bars in it, it isn’t an official product.

Each display box has specific things to check for. When looking directly at the front of the box, the top section should be black and have the “Puff Bar” logo along with a trademark symbol. If the flavor is a limited edition flavor (ex. Tangerine Ice or Strawberry Banana), there will be a special Limited Edition gold seal in the top corner.

The front will also display the name of the flavor alongside a picture of the Puff Bar contained inside. That bar should have the Puff logo, the name of the flavor, and the correct nicotine level on it as well. There will be a large nicotine warning label taking up the bottom third of the display box. A small half-circle also sits just above the warning label displaying the flavor.

Look for the official Puff Bar stamp with a scratch-away area revealing a code authenticity on the right-hand side of the box. You’ll find further information about the device on the back of the box. The most important thing to look for is along the top flap, an instruction printed in red stating “SEE DETAILS INSIDE.”

Device Packaging

Each Puff Bar device comes packaged in a small, rectangular box. These boxes are essentially smaller versions of the 10-pack display case. The white Puff Bar logo with a trademark symbol stands out against a black background at the top of the box. A nicotine warning label takes up the bottom third of the packaging.

The name of the flavor is displayed prominently on the front of the box alongside an image of the Puff Bar device contained inside the box. The device image should be the correct color that corresponds with the flavor. It should also have the Puff Bar logo, the name of the flavor, and the corresponding nicotine level pictured on it.

The back of the box contains information about Puff Bar along with instructions for use. There will be a barcode around the middle of the back as well as another nicotine warning label along the bottom. Also, look for a stamp with a scratch-away area revealing a code to confirm your device’s authenticity.

Device Wrapper

Once you open an individual Puff Bar box, the device itself is contained within a tearaway wrapper. The wrapper should be the correct color that corresponds with the bar’s flavor. It will also have the white Puff Bar logo, the flavor, and the nicotine level contained within the bar.

Device

When you have the device in your hand, you’ll be able to know if your Puff Bar is real or fake. Each Puff Bar flavor has a unique color associated with it. The bar should be the correct color, matching the wrapper and box that it came in.

Each Puff Bar device should have four components printed on it: the Puff Logo with a trademark, the flavor’s name, the nicotine level, and an arrow pointing to the area you inhale from. The bottoms of all authentic Puff Bar devices will also have two divots in them.

Hello!! A friend turned me onto the puff bar!! I absolutely love it!! It is fantastic when you get a good one!! I’ve bought several and I’ve had two that did not taste right in the taste burnt and it ran out quick so my comment is there not consistent. For the most part they work really good when they work. I’m really happy with it. It puffs better than a cigarette you get a nice cloud and great flavor!! But, like I said sometimes the device taste burnt or like the dude said you get dry hits, but it’s a fantastic product keep making it and make it consistent!! Thank you Ingrid.

Hi so I bought 2 puff bars from a smoke shop to find out that it’s fake. One of them doesn’t even have the code. It doesn’t give me light headed. I was wondering if it’s possible to get a refund if I were to go back to the smoke shop & tell them?
